Belonging to the zodiac, this constellation illustrates Crotus, the son of the Greek god Pan and the originator of archery, taking aim with his bow at a scorpion symbolized by the adjacent Scorpius constellation. A distinctive characteristic of Sagittarius is a star arrangement that takes the form of a teapot, with its handle sometimes referred to as the Milk Dipper, envisioning it as if scooping into the Milky Way.
