Hello!

I am Lesia Kovalenko (Kovalesik), a Ukrainian artist and illustrator based in the UK.

My art, both graphics and digital, reflects my inner path of studying the world around me and the results of meditative contemplation on the subject. At the moment, I am comprehending the beauty and wisdom of the sky, stars and constellations, which is reflected in the “Heaven” series. These works are my artistic presentation of astronomical data (location, spectral class, star type) and meditation practice on constellations. I learn the characters who stand behind these stars arrangements and discover their archetypal manifestations in myself. One of my dreams is that my work will inspire other people to learn more, to find a deep connection between different manifestations in the universe and themselves.
