Although Aries is a zodiac constellation, it doesn’t stand out prominently. Its most distinctive feature is a bent line formed by three stars – Alpha (α), Beta (β), and Gamma (γ) Arietis. In Greek mythology, Aries symbolizes the ram whose golden fleece adorned an oak tree in Colchis on the eastern shore of the Black Sea. The epic voyage of Jason and the Argonauts was undertaken to retrieve this precious fleece and bring it back to Greece.
