Ursa Major stands out as one of the most celebrated constellations. Its seven stars create the well-known pattern known as the Plough or Big Dipper, although this constitutes only a segment of the entire constellation. In Greek mythology, the Great Bear embodies two distinct characters: Callisto, turned into a bear by Zeus’s wife, Hera, and Adrasteia, one of the nymphs who protected infant Zeus from his murderous father, Cronus.
