Equuleus, the second-smallest constellation, depicts the head of a small horse or foal, situated beside the larger celestial horse, Pegasus. Unlike many constellations, Equuleus lacks associated legends and is believed to have been incorporated into the sky by Ptolemy in the 2nd century CE.
